Frequently Asked Questions - Eyelash Extensions

How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions last for four weeks if they are properly taken care of.

How come my eyelash extensions are coming off?
Some makeup removers and mascaras are oil based. If you are going to use oil based products, care needs to be taken to avoid contact with eyelash extensions because the oil breaks down the Stays-On-Glue bond.

Do eyelash extensions harm your natural eyelashes?
No. Our eyelash extension system is designed not to harm your natural eyelashes. Simply use the
Stays-On-Glue Remover and eyelash extensions will slide right off leaving the natural lash intact. Be careful of other eyelash extension glues as they do cause premature removal of natural eyelashes.

Can I war mascara with my eyelash extensions?
Yes. Mascaras need to be non-oil based in order to ensure extension bond does not loosen. If you are unsure if your mascara is non-oil based it is better not to use to avoid premature removal of eyelash extensions.

Are eyelash extensions safe for use with contact?
Yes. Eyelash extensions are safe for use with contacts. The bonding agent Stays-On-Glue is an odor less non-toxic adhesive that will not burn the eyes and is great for use by those who wear contacts.

Can I get my eyelash extensions wet?
Yes. Stays-On-Glue is a waterproof lash glue for eyelash extensions. It is safe to go in the shower, swimming, and even white water rafting after the glue has dried which is about 5 minutes.
